July 4 -
Mutual & Federal customers will be pleased to note that this insurance giant
has opened up its ninth multi purpose centre in South Africa in order to cater
for the needs of its clients.
The new centre, situated in Claremont near Stadium on Main, is the second
facility of its kind in the Cape Town area.
According the Executive General Manager for Mutual & Federal, Sedick Isaacs,
the insurance group's customers are "central to everything that we do" and the
new facility in Claremont was launched in order to bring convenience to them.
"Our clients can have their vehicles assessed within 48 hours of lodging a
claim and an assessment does not last longer than 45 minutes," he said.
Customers not only have their vehicles assessed at the new centre, they can
also have their cosmetic repairs done, thanks to a collaboration between Mutual
& Federal and Reynolds Body Works, a wholly owned Black Economic Empowerment
company, which has set up shop in the multi purpose centre.
If damage greater than what can be repaired through cosmetic surgery is
caused to the vehicle, customers can choose from a list of approved auto-body
repairers offered by Mutual & Federal.
Positive Responses
Isaacs said that the new multi purpose center has received many
positive responses so far.
The insurance group was one of the first to introduce this type
of claims centre in the early 1990's.
"Our focus is to become a more customer centric organisation and
we are enhancing our service levels by turning all our drive in claims centres
into multi purpose centres where vehicles are assessed and all types of claims
can be registered," he said.
The latest claims centre is located on Stegman Road, Claremont,
while the other Cape centre is Montague Gardens.
