Since then, Regent Insurance has grown in leaps and bounds and today boasts
a billion rand per annum turnover, seven branches throughout South Africa
and a staff complement of over 300 highly-trained and motivated personnel.
Regent Insurance focuses on underwriting commercial and personal insurance
lines - directly and through a selection of 'niche' underwriting agents - as
well as unsupported motor insurance via South African banks and financial
institutions, car dealerships and specific insurance brokers.
Regent is a solely owned subsidiary of Imperial Holdings, a listed South
African company with an annual turnover of R42.5 billion.
