An independent study of South Africa's leading insurance brokers ranked Santam insurance first in three different categories, including best corporate insurance and best commerical lines. Price Waterhouse Coopers oversaw the study that provided a detailed report about the South African Insurance Broking Industry for 2005. Santam had earlier won numerous honours at the SAFSIA awards, which looks at financial services intermediaries. Santam Insurance won best commerical insurance provider of the year, as well as best corporate insurer. Santam is also one of South Africa's top twenty blue-chip companies and clearly one of the finest and well-respected insurance brokers in the country.
